Carrying Capacity part 2: Sermon # 11

The Church is a gathered to be scattered community. Spirit empowered and anointed ministry to one another…produces fruitful mission to others. We are called to the community of Christ, the called out ones, who find our place and purpose within the building up of the body of Christ. The body of Christ is like a garden, the better the soil, place and elements that are within and about it, the healthier and more fruitful the harvest. The activation of the gifts, the healthy of each member is a sustaining, nourishing, spread out labor of Divine fruitfulness. Bad garden conditions leads to pitiful and pathetic harvests.

Ghost Stories: Sermon #9 Dreaming the Dreams of God

The trials and triumphs of dreamers: Acts 2:17-18 ‘In the last days, God says  “I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Ghost Stories:: Sermon #6: Power to the Powerless

This is sermon 6 in our series: Ghost Stories: Uncovering the truth about the Presence & Power of the Holy Spirit.

This is a message about how the Holy Ghost brings power to everyday people and the common day to day life. Too often people’s sidestep the person of the Holy Spirit because the stories told often revolve around supernatural activities that seem inaccessible or irrelevant to the duties of everyday life. The power of the Holy Spirit is for everyone, especially those who think or feel they are the “weakest and least” in the community. This sermon is shaped a bit for Father’s Day, but the content is true for all.
